After a successful season one, part one, the How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom anime is returning with a second cour.

The concept of rebuilding a crippled nation with modern knowledge has earned many fans. Rest assured, the story still has lots of materials to adapt, so it’s nowhere near its finale.

In the second part, Kazuya will not only face new challenges but also get handsomely rewarded for his efforts.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom will premiere its second cour in January 2022. A new trailer reveals some intriguing details about the upcoming cour’s plot.

The trailer shows Kazuya passing a judgment on Castor and Carla for opposing him during a civil war. Although they were supposed to be punished, Kazuya later forgave them after examining the circumstances which forced them to take such a decision.

Yet, things are worse for Georg as he is served the death penalty. Will the anime’s second part be the end of him?

The upcoming cour might adapt the story from volume four of the light novel.

Kazuya will basically produce the kingdom’s first idol, and her popularity will go through the roof. Not only that, Amidonia will seek Kazuya’s help as the domain is facing the threat of a civil war.

Soon, Kazuya will have to whip out more of his modern-day tactics to end the day peacefully. Will he be able to solve all these problems alone? I hope that the anime stays true to the light novel, and cour two gives otakus the scoop we deserve.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is a light novel series by Dojyomaru and Fuyuyuki. It was adapted into a manga in July 2017 and is inspiring an anime that will release in July 2021.

Kazuya Souma is summoned to another world as a hero who needs to save the day or rather an entire kingdom. He is handed over the crown of Elfreiden.

The kingdom is failing politically and economically. Souma, with his intellect and rational thinking, starts to rebuild the nation bit by bit from the inside out.

His plans are realistic and do not include the hassles of war. How will this new administrative order turn out?
