How Soon Is the End of the Golden Kamuy Anime?
Season 3 of Golden Kamuy gave us the long-awaited reunion of Sugimoto and Asirpa. However, we can’t celebrate their happy reunion just yet because Season 4 will bring them many severe hardships.
Season 4 begins with the couple crossing the difficult terrains of Russia on their way back to their hometown, while the 7th Division keeps a close eye on them. This season will consist of around 13 episodes and will last one season.
As we see the last remaining arcs of the manga in Season 4, it appears that the anime will end with Season 4. Many fans, though, have dismissed that hypothesis.
Because Season 4 cannot adapt 100+ episodes of content, Golden Kamuy will require another 12 episodes following Season 4. Every arc takes 3-4 episodes, and there are still 5 arcs left even if Season 4 is halfway done, so the release of Season 5 is unavoidable.
Which arcs will be covered in Golden Kamuy Season 4?
The Return to Hokkaido arc kicked off Episode 1 of Golden Kamuy Season 4. It will cover everything from the Pet Monster arc to some of the Boutarou the Pirate arc. Because the anime adapts the arcs in a non-linear fashion, new arcs may be adapted in Season 4.
What happens at the end of the Golden Kamuy manga?
Golden Kamuy finished on a high note, and many fans were sad to see it depart. Chapter 314 was the manga’s final chapter, and it depicted the fate of all the characters six months after their combat with the 7th Division at Fort Goryokaku.
Here’s a breakdown of what happened to some of Golden Kamuy’s important characters in the manga’s conclusion.
1. Sugimoto survives the struggle between him and Tsurumi. He obtains some gold and gives it to Ume, despite the fact that she has previously had surgery to correct her vision.
2. Sugimoto uses some of the gold to buy land for the Ainu and decides to leave Shiraishi behind to live with Asirpa at the kotan.
3. Shiraishi purchased a Southeast Asian island after stealing the remaining gold at Goryokaku.
4. Ogata is killed, but Vasily survives the struggle. Vasily eventually becomes a well-known artist.
5. Tsurumi’s location and status are unknown, but Koito is appointed commander of the 7th Division, with Tsukishima as his right-hand man.
6. Tanigaki returns to Ani and has 15 children with Inkarmat, Kantarou starts a ranch, and Nagakura becomes an Otaru teacher.
Golden Kamuy
Golden Kamuy is based on Satoru Noda’s manga series, of which 22 volumes have been published. The manga has already been turned into two seasons of anime, with a third on the way.
Saichi Sugimoto, a fighting veteran from the Russo-Japanese war, is important to the plot.
He is anxious for money and chooses to embark on a quest after hearing a myth about hidden Ainu wealth. Asirpa, a young Ainu girl, joins him.
