Hunter x Hunter Manga Breaks the Internet with Official Comeback Reveal
This is the announcement that every weeb has been waiting for since November 2018, and yes, the rumors are true. HUNTER x HUNTER IS BACK!
The manga was in the middle of the epic Succession Contest arc (even though Gon and Killua aren’t in it), and Togashi decided to leave us on the biggest cliffhanger ever. His indefinite hiatus amid a crucial clash made fans go ballistic, and rightfully so.
But now, Yoshihiro Togashi has announced in a cryptic tweet that the Hunter x Hunter manga is back and that there are four more chapters to go.
4 more episodes for the time being

I know the tweet looks super suspicious and we’ve all developed trust issues concerning the series because of various false rumors over the years. However, this time it’s 100% real and verified that Togashi himself posted this.
The image teases an image of a manga panel being drawn, and from the looks, the scenery features hills, most likely from the Dark Continent. It is accompanied by a caption that suggests four more chapters are left either for the arc’s finale or the series itself.
As every manga reader already knows, the Succession Contest arc doesn’t feature Gon and Killua in the lead but instead focuses on the story’s stellar supporting characters.
It got Leorio after his popularity soared among hunters after the elections and brought back Kurapika from the dead (or wherever he was).

Much to the disappointment of anime-only fans, there won’t be any Gon or Killua if the anime also gets revived, but I assure you that the upcoming story won’t let you miss them with its stirring action and plot.
The manga is back after four years, making every otaku go out of their minds. However, the real question is, are we really going to witness the end of this beloved saga? Or does Togashi have something more planned for it?
