‘Idol Bu Show’ Film’s Latest Trailer Teases Anime and Live Concert Clips
If you think that you have seen every possible plot in the anime world, then you’re going to be proven wrong when you learn about the Idol Bu Show.
It follows the story of three commanders from the Sengoku period who are reincarnated as music producers. To test their strengths and who’s the best, they engage in a battle royale of idol groups with sales and voting at each concert as the criteria to judge.
Now that’s a story I’m strangely excited to watch.
The good thing is, we won’t have to wait for long as the Idol Bu Show anime film is set to release on June 24, 2022.
The film’s latest promotional video teases the anime and some parts of the idol groups’ live concerts. Along with that, the whole video shows each group performing on stage and giving it their all.
In between the scenes, short clips of the idol groups are shown during their concert as they introduce each unit: No Princess, Lunatic Eyes, and X-UC.
A Sengoku-period commander leads each group reincarnated as a modern-day music producer. Saitō Dōsan’s reincarnation heads No Princess, Date Masamune is in charge of Lunatic Eyes, and Sanada Yukimura leads X-UC. Every unit’s name is a reference to something that the commander was famous for.
Moreover, the franchise has revealed that the movie will be 64 minutes long. It’s a bit sad because the film looks so exciting and we’ll only have an hour of it. They better announce a TV anime for it next.
‘IDOL Bu SHOW’ Movie Trailer Features Three Idol Groups, June Premiere
Since they’re leaders from the Sengoku period, I can’t help but imagine the idols going through a strict military-style routine for their rehearsals daily.
However, idol life is not that different as these artists have to practice for hours to give a flawless performance. So, it will be more like an everyday thing for them.
