‘IDOL Bu SHOW’ Movie Trailer Features Three Idol Groups, June Premiere
The life of an idol group, be it in reality or anime, is like to a battlefield, with the fittest emerging victorious.
That is precisely how the upcoming anime film “IDOL Bu SHOW” is going to be but with a twist – the leads are reincarnated from a historical era.
Three idol units will have to climb up a battle royale and the group that wins will hold a grand live performance to adopt the name of “the greatest under the heavens.”
IDOL Bu SHOW anime film is scheduled to premiere on June 24, 2022. The trailer greets all the idol groups who partake in the competition. Check out the latest visual!
The film will include both an anime part and a live-action concert. The film will feature the project’s first original story.
The trailer displays the three idol groups – No Princess, Lunatic Eyes, and X-UC who compete at the “Tenka Flag Battle Royale.” The harmonious songs in the background are sung by the idol groups.
IDOL Bu SHOW film’s visual displays all the members of No Princess, Lunatic Eyes, and X-UC. A more detailed visual of the three idol groups is shown below:
Saitō Dōsan’s reincarnation “Shigemichi Saitō” leads the first idol unit “No Princess.” Saitō Dōsan was known as the Viper of Mino and the father-in-law of Oda Nobunaga.
Date Masamune’s reincarnation “Muneto Date” leads the second group “Lunatic Eyes.” Date is famous for being a one-eyed warrior and the lord of Sendai.
The third idol group “X-UC” is led by Sanada Yukimura who is the reincarnation of “Kōnosuke Sanada.” Sanada Yukimura was a famed warrior who is best known for defending Osaka castle against the Tokugawa in 1614.

With each idol group having a different member count, I’m curious to know if that will impact the overall performance.
I’m also intrigued to know how the leads will adapt to modern-day Japan. Hopefully, the surroundings challenge them enough that they outshine themselves.
