The stories of war heroes end after the final battle, but for Leo, this is just the beginning. As the powerful protagonist is ostracized from the rest of the society, in desperation, he joins hands with the very demons he had once defeated.
I’m Quitting Heroing: Next Gig is at the Demon Queen’s Castle anime will be released in April 2022. Kadokawa has revealed a new PV that teases the tragic fate of the hero.
The trailer highlights Leo, the former hero’s pathetic situation. After becoming too strong, he had to join the same demon army that he had defeated. The demon queen, Echidna, hates his guts, and reasonably so.
The demon army has financial troubles, an unhealthy working environment, and tons of other problems. After bringing world peace, Leo’s next task is to bring peace to the demons.

I’m Quitting Heroing seems like a reverse of The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime. The upcoming story will have some action scenes, but I can already anticipate the amount of comedy in it.

I’m Quitting Heroing is a light novel series by Quantum and Hana Amano. Kadokawa has been publishing it from 2017.
Leo becomes unwanted in the peaceful human world because of his unmatched strength. Exiled, he joins the Demon King’s Army, using his power to rebuild the broken army. Leo encounters Echidna and asks why she invaded the human world, leading to an unexpected story.
