In April, a one-hour special will debut the first part of the swordsman/demon-slayer arc.
On December 10, a special showing of Demon Slayer: The Movie: Mugen Train was broadcast, and at the end of the show, it was revealed that a one-hour episode devoted to the Swordsmith Village Arc of the series would premiere in April.
Shown are episodes 10 and 11 from the Demon Slayer arc set in the Entertainment District, as well as the pilot episode of the Swordsmith Village arc. Japan, the United States, Canada, France, Mexico, Germany, South Korea, and Taiwan will all host screenings as part of the global tour.
Haruo Sotozaki will be in charge of the new arc, and Akira Matsushima will be in charge of character design and chief animation at Ufotable Studio. The new arc will feature the return of the series’ main cast members.
In February of 2016, Shueisha debuted the manga adaptation of The Demon Slayer in the pages of their Weekly Shonen Jump publication. As of May 2020, all chapters had been published, and by December 2020, the manga’s 23rd collected book volume had been released.
Koyoharu Gotoge is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The series debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2016, and as of this writing, 19 collected tankbon volumes have been released.
Kimetsu no Yaiba is the story of Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, two siblings who find themselves in a world rife with demons and demon slayers after a demon kills their family. And their troubles don’t end there, because Nezuko is spared from death only to be reborn as a demon.
Tanjiro, being the eldest of his siblings, has taken an oath to save his sick sibling and bring her back to health. The narrative follows the relationship between the brother-sister duo, or more accurately, the demon slayer and demon, as they battle an overarching antagonist and the social pressures of their time.
