Sports anime are all about that last-minute shot, the anxiety rush, and the emotions after your favorite team wins. Aoashi is an upcoming anime about soccer, and I am already super excited about it!
The soccer based manga is created by Yugo Kobayashi. It has a protagonist who is not just an ambitious kid but who also knows the real life struggle one goes through in the field of sports.
Aoashi manga finally announced its anime adaptation in Big Comic Spirits issue #26. The anime is scheduled for a Spring 2022 release.
The plot is centered around a third-year middle school student known as Ashito Aoi, who catches the eye of Tatsuya Fukuda, a ‘J Youth League’ coach.
The manga Aoashi is so well made that it is considered one of the best in the sports manga due to its fantastic storyline and the artwork.
The story of how Ashito Aoi revolutionized soccer in Japan serves as an inspiration to many. It has a realistic tone to it, a small town kid playing with the big teams has the ability to motivate many people to pursue their dreams

The protagonist is much like our beloved Hinata Shoyo from Haikyuu. He is a ray of sunshine with weird hair, filled with ambition and ready to give it his all.
But don’t you dare say a word about his school, town or the people he cares about or you’re getting punched in the face!!
If you found this article interesting or made you even a little bit curious, I strongly suggest that you keep your eyes open for more updates on the upcoming anime!
