In the past few years, we’ve seen many mangaka and actors go on their own hiatuses, and finally, LiSA and Tatsuhisa Suzuki have chosen to do the same.

Imagine producing consecutive hit theme songs of Sword Art Online, Fate/Zero, My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer; it’s no surprise she took this break.

As per her official website, LiSA’s current hiatus was taken due to “her mental and physical fatigue.” As a result, her LiVE is Smile Always ~Ladybug~ 2-day concert, scheduled for August 7th, was canceled.

Sony Music Artists Inc. and Sacra Music apologized to fans for causing them any inconvenience and will be announcing ticket refund details as soon as they are decided.

I guess she and her husband were a match made in heaven because Tatsuhisa Suzuki doesn’t fall short either.

Minutes after LiSA revealed her hiatus, the singer/voice-actor, Suzuki, who voiced characters in Final Fantasy, The Seven Deadly Sins, and The Misfit of Demon King Academy announced his hiatus.

The official website for his rock band OLDCODEX said that Suzuki had been in poor health for the last several days, so the unit would be taking a break.

If it wasn’t obvious, the band will not be performing at the “Animelo Summer Live 2021 Colors” concert on August 29th. The staff apologized to the organizers of the concert and the other artists for causing them inconvenience.

However, the band will still come through with their single CD for Free! The Final Stroke’s theme song, debuting on September 5th.

We can continuously support both of them in their careers and wish them a speedy recovery, after all, their contribution to the anime genre has been massive.
