Is Mob Psycho 100 Kid-Friendly?
Teenagers and even young adults could find themselves relating to Mob in Season 3, as he struggles with his first-ever crush, his career choices, and his social standing among his fellow peers.
Mob, the protagonist, is a middle school student, so anime newbies might think this anime is geared toward kids only. But shōnen anime is infamous for including mature themes, such as violence and nudity, even if its protagonist is a minor. Take The Promised Neverland, as an example.
However, Mob Psycho 100 is appropriate for anyone who is 13 years old and above. Tweens can watch this show under strict parental guidance since the show contains mild violence, sex, and nudity. Most countries, such as Japan and UK, have rated the show as PG-13.

Mob Psycho 100 Parental Guide
Mob Psycho is much cleaner than other shōnen anime, such as One Punch Man and Naruto, but it does have some mature scenes at times.
Sex: Seasons 1 and 2 did have some mild sexual themes that you need to watch out for.
In episode 2 of season 1, a perverted ghost terrorizes a girls’ high school by swapping their underwear and peeking at them in the toilets. In the same episode, a comical reference is made about a man who sprains his shoulder after clicking too much on porn sites.
There is a pervert who wears a red raincoat and flashes at young girls in episode 2 of season 2.
Nudity: In episode 7 of season 1, a panty shot of school girls pops in, but it lasts only for a few seconds.
In many episodes, the buttocks of male characters can be seen but since the art of the show is cartoonish, the effect is almost comical.
In episode 5 of season 1, a teenage boy gets stripped naked during a fight, but only his butt is shown.
A spirit assumes the form of a naked man in season 3, but no genitals are shown.
Violence: Most of the battles in Mob Psycho are fantastical fights against supernatural spirits, so some blood is shown on occasion.
During the 7th Division arc, one of the main characters gets slashed by a sword in the back.
A few kids are kidnapped in season 1, but it’s nothing serious.
Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking: There is almost no consumption of alcohol or drugs, and smoking in the series, save for a few scenes of the characters smoking.
An adult man throws up in an alley after being supposedly drunk in season 2, but the bartender clarifies that his drink contained no alcohol.
Profanity: Only mild profanity is used in the series. Only words such as ‘shit’ and ‘dipshit’ are used.
Besides these mature themes, there have been instances of characters being forced to join a cult in season 3 and a depiction of another cult in season 1.
