Is The Animal-Based Anime Beastars Back for A Final Season 3?
Beastars, with two seasons available on Netflix, tackles themes and genres of friendship, romance, and even crime drama, with the twist that all the characters are civilized animals.
Developed by Orange studio, the show began in October of 2019, and it quickly gained praise from viewers and critics alike.
The quirky, Zootopia-like anime is set in a world, specifically Cherryton Academy, where predators and prey must abide by the rules and co-exist, but something is bound to go wrong.
The Beastars anime about cold-blooded murders, twisted love triangles, and anthropomorphic animals might possibly be back for a Season 3.
Thanks to Beastars’ global popularity after the recent Season 2, fans worldwide are raging about this anime, so it is likely that Season 3 will be listed soon.
Assuming that Season 3 would undergo a similar production and release schedule as the previous seasons, fans can expect a comeback from Beastars in April 2022 in Japan.
Netflix released the Beastars seasons three to four months after the domestic finale, so Season 3 may only be available after September 2022.
However, there have been no official announcements regarding an upcoming Season 3, so fans are still skeptical about its arrival.
If indeed, there is a Beastars Season 3 anime, it will pick up where the manga aligned with Season 2 left off – Volume 12. Given that the manga stretches 22 volumes, there is a lot of material left to cover.
According to the Season 2 finale and the manga, our wolf-deer duo, Legoshi, and Louis, will continue to bridge the gap between carnivores and herbivores. Legoshi also makes two new herbivore friends, Merino and Yahya.
Is BEASTARS worth your time? – A Complete Review
Since Legoshi dropped out of school, Season 3 will be totally different. With his new criminal record, we can expect tons of more trouble to come his way.
Since the latest season left off with most of the characters alive, we can assume that most of them will return for the upcoming installment, like Legoshi, Louis, Haru, and Jack.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed in hopes that a season confirmation comes soon from the studio!
