Jigokuraku Hell’s Paradise Episode 10: Summary

In the last episode, we saw that the samurai and his executioner found both Mei and Gabimaru on the side of the river. At first, they decided to fight, but after a careful look at the situation, they decided to work together instead. Gabimaru told them what he knew, and they believed what he said.

We also saw that when Mei woke up, she had changed into a girl. Gabimaru told them everything there was to know about Tensen, the Horai area, and how things work on the island. After that, both the Samurai and his executioner said what they wanted to do with the elixir of life and why they wanted it. Senta, on the other hand, was ready to throw out some new ideas.

One of them was that the island was a mix of different cultures, which means that the island must have been made by someone. Mei could then talk, but she didn’t sound very clear and could only say a few words. Nurugai asked Shion to show her how to use a sword so she can get revenge on Tenza.

Shion is blind, so we saw an explanation of how things work for him. He could feel some kind of energy coming from the living things, and then monsters came and surrounded them.
