No one expected Itadori to be the one to die during the curse womb mission, but everyone’s worst nightmare came true. But is Itadori dead for sure? Only the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 6 will tell what Sukuna is doing inside his body.
Sukuna is super smart and he knew that a human body cannot survive without a heart so he ripped it out of Itadori’s body hoping that he will be able to take over the body now that Itadori cannot switch. If he does switch, he will die.
But Itadori had different plans, he couldn’t just see Megumi die at the hands of Sukuna. So he switches back and doing so he dies. Gojo is furious at the fact that the higher guys took advantage of the fact that he was out of city and sent Itadori on a suicide quest.
Megumi and Kugisaki are super depressed and are mourning the death of Itadori. Three new characters got introduced and they together with the two first years are going to participate in the Kyoto sister school exchange event.
Many Jujutsu schools participate in the tournament and it lasts for two days. The first day is for team battle and the second day has individual battles. Being just defeated by Sukuna, Megumi vows to get stronger.
Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime both are going strong. Fans are showing a lot of love for the anime and once the first season end, a second season is guaranteed just like God Of High School Season 2 and Tower Of God Season 2.
Sukuna and Itadori have won the hearts of so many fans around the world and that is why it’s impossible that a character like Itadori will die so soon in the anime. At the end of fifth episode, we saw hints that Sukuna might have kept the body alive even when there’s no heart inside.

The sixth episode of Jujutsu Kaisen anime is titled “After Rain”. A new episode is released every Friday, so you can watch the upcoming episode on November 6th, 2020.
There will be around twelve episodes in the Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, so with the sixth episode releasing, we will be past the halfway point.

At the end of Episode 5, we see that even though Itadori has a hole in his chest and there is no heart, Sukuna is still alive inside the body and as long as he is there, he can heal or regenerate the heart anytime and it means that Yuuji is not dead.
The upcoming Episode 6 of Jujutsu Kaisen anime will be Itadori confronting Sukuna in his unconscious and this is where they will most likely fight or make a pact so that they can alternate.
After the end of Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 6 there’s a high chance that Sukuna and Itadori will have come to an agreement where they will coexist from now on.
