Mahito’s latest transformation has made him incredibly strong and as the fight between him and Yuuji continues, he vows to erase Yuuji’s name from existence and end his arrogance once and for all.

Chapter 130 had teased a bit of Mahito’s new transformation as he morphed into a creature which slightly resembled Hanami. Mahito arrogantly announced his rebirth and urged Yuuji to wish this new form a happy birthday.

Chapter 131 definitely showed off Mahito’s strength as he faced Yuuji head-on and Yuuji was certainly overwhelmed with his opponent’s newfound unrivalled strength.

Mahito was able to channel this new form after he realized his true potential while using the Black Flash curse. He was reformed as a newer and deadly strong enemy, enough to keep Yuuji on his toes.

Yuuji has seen his friends fight and fall trying to defeat Mahito and is now brimming with a thirst for revenge.

1. Will Yuuji Be Able To Defeat His New & Formidable Enemy?

I. What do we know so far?

The Shibuya Incident Arc was an unexpectedly thrilling arc; we saw some really exhilarating action sequences, some new and improved curses and disappointingly a few deaths as well.

Mahito challenged Todo and Yuuji and their fight continued. Mahito’s body had taken a toll due to the previous battle with Kugisaki and was barely keeping up with Todo’s attack.

With no choice and his life on the line, Mahito opened up a domain expansion for 0.2 seconds and attacked Todo with all his strength.

Todo had already lost some of his cursed energy trying to counter-attack the domain expansion and was unable to dodge Mahito. He took a hit to his stomach and fell down handing the battle over to Yuuji.

As Yuuji attacked Mahito, he channelled his cursed powers and used the idle transformation to transform into a new cursed being.

Mahito was able to channel all his cursed energy to trigger an idle transformation curse. This curse made him transform into a creature resembling Hanami in a way.

Like Hanami, this new form of Mahito has a helmet-like head that does not cover his teeth, has baggy pants and has an incredibly muscular appearance.

Mahito informs Yuuji that this new strength of his was due to him learning the true meaning of the cursed spell Black Flash. His unbridled soul was awakened and he became something which had unimaginable strength.

Yuuji is seen keeping up with all of Mahito’s attacks but he can definitely feel the new powers exuding from Mahito’s body.

Mahito’s body has turned incredibly tough resembling steel and Yuuji’s punches can’t even scratch the surface.

Yuuji understands that he has to hit Mahito with a Black Flash as a last resort.

But the spell must be infused with every ounce of cursed energy Yuuji has which can render his body useless if it does not completely defeat Mahito in one hit.
