I am sure you already know that Jujutsu Kaisen saw a surging increase in popularity with the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic back in 2020. But, its train to success town did not just stop there.

Even in 2021, both the anime and manga set more records for Jujutsu Kaisen’s skyrocketing success.

Shueisha, Jujutsu Kaisen’s publishing company, recently reported that the manga has reached over 40 million copies in circulation in both digital and print format as of 31st March 2021.

The copies also include the ones currently not yet sold. The manga had just celebrated 20 million copies circulation in February 2020.

The manga currently saw a whopping 470% increase in sales after the release of Jujutsu Kaisen’s anime back in October 2020.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s volume 15 which celebrated the 20 million circulation success had a special cover page for the fans. That volume alone saw 1.5 million copies in circulation.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga is currently on the Itadori’s Extermination arc with chapter 145 set to be released on April 11th. Chapter 144 focused on Yuuji and Megumi’s plan to seek help and find a way to undo Noritoshi Kamo’s prison realm spell off of Gojo-sensei.

On the other hand, Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen recently finished with episode 24 released on March 27th.
