Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is scheduled for Valentine’s Day in the United States and Canada

Want to show your anime-loving Valentine some love this year? You understood! Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends is a hilarious high school romance. The movie will only be available for a short time in the West.

The release of the romantic comedy picture to theaters in the United States and Canada was posted on Twitter by Crunchyroll and Aniplex of America on Friday. Screenings of the film in Japanese dub with English subtitles will take place on February 14 and 15.

Premiering in Japan on December 17, 2022, Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends is set to be an annual event.

Based on Aka Akasaka’s manga, “The First Kiss That Never Ends,” the film picks up just where the season 3 of the anime left off.

The film’s theme song, “Love is Show,” featured Reni Takagi and was performed by Masayuki Suzuki, who also reprised his role in the film. Heart Notes, performed by Airi Suzuki, played as the credits rolled. The insert song “Romantic Manifesto” was sung by Halca.

In November of 2022, the final chapter of the manga was released.
