The eight-part series of The Girlfriend and the kiss was completed in the last chapter and at the end of the chapter, it was announced that a new arc will soon begin.
Kanojo, Okarishumasu Chapter 240 will start with a lead color page and is titled “The Inquiry Begins”. The English chapter is still a few days away, before that we will share the raw scan and English chapter release date.
According to some reviewers on Youtube, Chizuru also likes Kazuya and is only running away from her feelings. She will surely have a talk with Ruka soon where both confess their feelings.
This is where Chizuru will come to know that she has true feelings for Kazuya and instead of being a rental girlfriend, she should become his full time girlfriend.

Rent A Girlfriend Chapter 240 Raw Release Date
Fans are very excited for the next upcoming arc. The author of the series teased at the end of the chapter that a new arc will kick off the next chapter with a lead color page.
There are still some days to go before the complete English chapter gets published. Kanojo, Okarishimasu Chapter 240 will be published online on 20th June 2022, the same day as One Piece 1053.
There have been no delays for a while, so we expect the chapter to be published as scheduled. Not much is known about the Rent A Girlfriend 240 raw scans as of now, but expect it to be published a few days before the English chapter.

Since a new arc will begin next chapter, fans have many theories in their mind about how Kazuya and Mizuhara will get together in the future.
A New Arc
It has been made clear that Kazuya really loves Chizuru. But she has been hesitant about her feelings, not accepting Kazuya’s love.
In Chapter 239, she finally came out of her comfort zone to tell Kazuya that she might have some feelings underneath, all she needs is some time and whether she likes Kazuya or not will be answered soon.
Kazuya is hell-bent on Chizuru while Ruka loves him deeply, so for him to get together with her, she needs to have a talk with Ruka Soon. A love triangle cannot last forever, so we might some more of Ruka in the upcoming Kanojo, Okarishimasu 240 English Chapter.
The title of the new chapter is “The Inquiry Begins” and not much is known about what is going to happen next chapter. Kazuya and Chizuru have many hurdles to cross before they get together.
According to same fans, Chizuru should leave her rental girlfriend’s job if she wants to evaluate her love for Kazuya. Will she leave her job just to be together with Kazuya?
