Katabami to Ougan is an ambitious tale about a girl and her servant set on a journey to change their fate. After a brutal famine hit Ireland, leaving it in shambles, Amelia had lost everyone but her family’s loyal servant Connor.
Amelia is cheerful and optimistic, while Connor is a quiet person who will follow Amelia wherever she goes. Struck with extreme poverty and starvation, they get a ray of hope when they come to know about the newfound gold in California.
Since they don’t even have a penny left to travel, the teenager and her servant resort to robbing corpses that died due to the famine. The pair then somehow collect enough to travel overseas and pursue their goals.
Although the manga has been on a break with its latest volume 5 released on March 18, 2021, it still hasn’t lost its fanbase. We bring good news for everyone who’s been waiting for it to come back.

The story features a 14-year-old girl Amelia who has lost everyone in her family to the crisis except her family servant Connor. She is informed of California’s Gold Rush and is on a journey with Connor to become rich by acquiring the gold.
