Each of the spinoff chapters portrays a particular aspect of Sawako and Kazahaya’s life. The first chapter portrayed their long-distance relationship when Kazahaya was in college.
The upcoming chapter is also likely to illustrate a particular set of obstacles that Sawako and Kazahaya need to overcome. Though they have confessed their love, life isn’t as simple as that.
Kimi ni Todoke has two light novel adaptations by different authors. It has also received an anime series and a live-action film.
The manga is licensed by Viz Media for release in North America. Its final chapter was published in November 2017. However, the series is still as popular as ever with a loving fanbase.
