Kingdom is the magnum opus of Yasuhisa Hara. It is released in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine, since it is a seinen title. The series provides a fictional account of the Warring States period of Chinese History, with General Li Xin as the protagonist.
Moubu is down! Who saw that coming? Moubu defeated the legendary Kanmei. He was injured gravely but he won anyways. How strong is Man’U? How powerful do you have to be in order to knock Moubu down with a single blow?
In Chapter 655, the Juuko war took a slight turn in Qin’s favor. It looked like their plan to charge it would be successful given how the rest of the pieces were being tied down. But Juuko won’t fall so simply. The upcoming chapter 657 will keep going with the Battle for Juuko.
To those who are wondering what happened to the Kingdom Season 3 Episode 5, it has been delayed and will be released in 2021. Kengan Ashura Season 3 will also be releasing next year.

Kingdom Chapter 657 Release Date:
Hara is on a roll. Kingdom 657 raw scans will be released within 12 September, 2020. These Japanese scans will be taken up by scanlation teams, in order to be translated into English, French, Korean and so.
Kingdom 657 fan translations in English will arrive on 15 September, 2020. French scans are released about a day earlier. Right now, Sense Scans is making Kingdom and they need more staff.
There is no official English release of Kingdom. Also, Solo Leveling 123 and One Piece 992 Spoilers will also be releasing soon so check them out.
Kingdom Manga 657 Discussion And Predictions:
Before going to the main fight, let us talk about the overall state of the battle. Both sides are fighting with multiple capable names under their banner. This is such a battle, where the fall of one single general won’t mean anything. Moubu or Man’U – either of them dying will shift the tides for sure but the war won’t end at all.
How will the armies move?
Kingdom 657 will show some strategic movements of the armies. Gohoumei issued the order last chapter and that attack will necessitate a change of tactics at the Juuko HQ. Hence, Juuko will shift its freely moving troops as well.
Tou will be charging in with his troops. He will be backed by Moubu’s men, but not Moubu himself. Ranbihaku will have Tou’s back while Rokuomi faces Sento’Un. If Tou manages to break through, Man’U will probably fall and we’ll explain why going ahead. But we can keep this on hold till next time.
What will Sento’Un do now?
Sento’Un seems like the craziest arrow in the quiver. If he gets out, or if the dynamic duo – Hakurei and Kouyoku – blasts, Ranbihaku must prove himself strong enough to push them away. Kouyoku can be considered Shin’s equivalent in this battle and Hakurei for Mouten. These youngsters have seen the same meteoric rise as Shin. But Hakurei is under pressure, so it is unlikely that he will rise in the next 2 chapters.
Rokuomi is very important here. We know him to be far from outstanding. But he is a General trusted by Tou. This means he is capable. If Rokuomi manages to stop Sento’Un in Kingdom 657, Qin will gain the favor again. Sento’un probably won’t fall to Rokuomi, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be stopped.
We believe, Sento’Un will be joining the fight against Gohoumei and Rokuomi will try to intercept his moves.
How is the defensive stance of the allied forces?
Both Qin and Wei have disjoint headquarters and that makes it harder for Chu to take those down. They’re torn between two options! We know Wei is the real HQ since Gohoumei is the strategical genius in play. Mouki has been reduced to a mere bystander.
Kingdom Chapter 657 or 658 will be a test for Gohoumei. We haven’t seen him shining ever since the Coalition arc. In this arc, he gets another chance to prove why he is considered to be so great. Remember that swirling vortex attack of Ri Boku? Or the unique defensive field of Kanki? Or the natural fortress of Ou Sen?
Kingdom 657 might show us Gohoumei’s tactics on a similar level. A defensive measure that seems impregnable. It would be even more interesting if one of the Juuko generals manages to cut through that trap and get near Gohoumei.
Moubu vs Man’U
Finally, the main attraction. The hype suddenly shifted to a very small area – from a whole war to a simple clash. But remember, the battle of these two generals is on par, or maybe even greater than the armies. And hence, this will be an absolute marvel.
Moubu will have trouble. If history is any hint, then Man’U will spend a lot of time dominating him. Man’U has some sort of extreme force behind his strike. Can the unstoppable force named Moubu to break that swing? Is it time for Moubu to utilize more than his muscles? Or is a sacrifice necessary? Will Moubu receive help?
