Kingdom Anime is not one of those that stands out on its own. With 2 prior seasons that have been branded as below par, Kingdom Season 3 had a challenge right from the beginning.
Fortunately, it has the blessing of adapting the best arc in the manga, which means that it already had immense recognition in the community. The anime was being watched by a huge number of manga readers and new fans. Unfortunately, it went on an indefinite hiatus.

When will Kingdom Season 3 Start Airing?
The anime took a break back when the pandemic was in full swing. Episode 4 aired on April 27, 2020 and since then, we have been waiting for Episode 5.
Now it is common knowledge that this season has had no trouble airing anime, which means, Kingdom Anime Season 3 should have continued. So why did it not?
It’s not that simple. Anime is aired on Japanese Television on different networks and for that, they need to book slots – for example, One Piece Anime airs Sunday morning on Fuji TV.
Similarly, Kingdom Season 3 had the Monday 00:15 JST slot booked on the NHK network. Because of the delay, NHK could not air Kingdom and the 39/40 week slot got messed up. If Kingdom suddenly started airing, it would have caused problems in NHK’s schedule.
So, Kingdom will be aired on a later date when the slot was free.
Kingdom Season 3 Episode 5 Release Date:
There is great news for all Kingdom fans. It has been announced that Kingdom Anime Season 3 Episode 5 will start airing from Spring 2021. The studio has planned a new schedule for the series. It has been announced on the official website of Kingdom anime.
As of now, nothing else has been revealed to us. We believe, they will start airing the season from Episode 1, instead of directly continuing from Episode 5. So, we can expect Kingdom Season Episode 5 to release in May 2021 – the first or second week.
Dragon Ball Super Season 2 is also expected to be air in 2021, so if you are a Dragon Ball fan, you must check it out.
The story will pick up from where it left. The States of China have united and their forces are encroaching on Qin. With everything in power, Qin has pulled back and they’re desperate to protect Kantan. After the Battle of Hangu Pass, the War goes on. What is coming up ahead?

What we just witnessed was the battle at Kankoku Pass, also known as, Hangu Pass. All the best Generals who have appeared will take part in this fierce class. Kankoku Pass is the only thing that stands between the destructon and survival of Qin. And hence, the battle will be legendary.
However, there will be a secret, much more devilish plan. Ri Boku is the smartest man on the field and unfortunately, he stands against Qin. He will send troops secretly to flank the Capital of Qin. Sai stands in the way but it is not a threat to Ri Boku.
