In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 16, we will see how Tanjiro has fared against Gyutaro. Does the despicable demon finally meet its end?
A gruesome battle is taking place. The fight with Daki was nothing but the beginning. Back then we had no idea that the states would get so high. Although that is the charm of this show. It finds a way to gradually up the ante and keep us engaged in every fight!
Tengen recalls his past. When Gyutaro claims he is special, Tengen says that he is just a shinobi with training that resembles hell. However, Tengen and his wife defected from their village after disagreeing with their ideals.
Kagaya was deeply thankful to them. After rejecting their childhood ideals, they dedicated their lives to being demon slayers. Kagaya deeply praised them. However, in Tengen’s eyes, he has little worth. He let so many people die and has made such mistakes.
He is no prodigy like Muichiro, who became a Hashira within 2 months of holding a sword for the first time! Tengen also has a deep respect for Kyujuro. However, despite these words, Tengen shows signs of the poison affecting him.
Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu all have joined the battle. But then again, Daki has Gyutaro’s eye on her forehead and they will fight connected. This leads to one large fight instead of two smaller ones. As Tengen’s wives join too, it becomes a huge area of chaos and battle.
However, it is due to Hinatsuru’s poisoned kunai, that the battle takes a decisive turn. The blades are coated with something wisteria based and they immediately stop the demons from regenerating. And this is the chance that was required. Tengen slices Gyutaro’s legs.
Seizing this chance, Tanjiro tries to strike Gyutaro’s neck. The demon is impressed by the work of the slayers and compliments Tanjiro. In Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Ep 16, we will see the fate of Gyutaro.
