Komi Can’t Communicate Announces Season 2 with a Comically Charming PV
Komi Can’t Communicate anime went from one of the most anticipated rom-coms of the year to one of the most popular.
This cute love story between an average guy Hitohito and the beautiful Komi-san suffering from social anxiety can make you feel all giddy inside.
With just one more episode left to release, fans were naturally disappointed. I mean, we’re talking about the biggest rom-com anime of 2021, so there’s gotta be more of it, right?
Well, the franchise knows the fans all too well, and so they have released a special announcement that made us all blow up out of excitement.
Tomohito Oda’s popular rom-com anime Komi Can’t Communicate revealed a season 2 under production for an April 2022 release.
The announcement was made through an adorable yet hilarious PV where Komi-san tries to introduce the second season as her classmates motivate her.
The video becomes funnier with Najimi as the director Hitohito in the mix as Komi speaks.
This simple task soon begins to look like shooting a critical scene of an Oscar-level movie. Everyone is silenced, and the only voice you can hear is sweat dripping and Komi-san’s quiet yet shivery voice.
As soon as she’s done with her lines, everyone comes running at her in excitement as she successfully speaks out the announcement.
Season 1 focused on introducing characters, setting a tone, and making us familiar with the protagonists and their classmates.
It was based entirely on the characters’ first year of high school, and the following season might be set in their new second-year class.
