This dark comedy anime will make every kid laugh and every adult depressed. It is one of the few shows out there which will burst our bubble and snap us back to the real world.

The upcoming anime Life Lessons With Uramichi-Oniisan revealed a new PV for the show which will premiere on July 5th, 2021.

The PV is about one of the supporting characters on the show, Mitsuo Kumagai. He is shown as a very cool-headed person who doesn’t really care about worldly matters.

He is carefree in a way that he has lost all hopes of a better future and doesn’t want to try either. Mitsuo is the kind who would rather spend his life at a riverbank catching fishes in peace.

Mitsuo’s character is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, who also plays the role of the fan-favorite Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Another crucial aspect of his calm personality is that Mitsuo goes silent when asked something about his hobbies or preferences. It is apparent that he gave up on life too soon to care about these things.

He never really bothered to create a unique personality or skills all his life, and now he gets nervous to answer questions regarding himself.

Mitsuo plays a bear called Kumao on the kids’ show ‘Together with Mama.’ His partner is Tobikichi Usahara, who plays a rabbit called Usao. Both Mitsuo and Tobikichi were in the same college as Uramichi.

It is shown that Mitsuo gets scared by Uramichi but he doesn’t show it. Uramichi, a person going through his midlife crisis, gets too serious and depressed, which concerns and mostly intimidates Mitsuo.

His unhinged personality often comes out, leaving Mitsuo and Tobikichi in a tight, awkward situation.

The anime is known to give out deceptive visuals. The posters often look wholesome and cheerful for a show that is emotionally and mentally brutal.

The main character of the series, Uramichi Omota, is no different. He is known to put up a bright fake smile during the shoot. However, as soon as the director says ‘CUT!’ Uramichi is back to his desolate self.
