Light Novel About A Party of Mistrusting Individuals Gets An Anime
Another day, another light novel with a long title. Thankfully, Adventurers Who Lost Faith in People Will Apparently Save the World, is not an isekai, but a full-fledged adventure story about a group of people who should have never met.
The main character Nick is a member of an adventurer party who is suddenly banished after getting falsely accused of embezzlement. After losing his father figure and his lover, he finds himself in a tavern where he meets other betrayed people like him who decide to form a party together.
This hilarious seinen light novel is now getting an anime.
Shinta Fuji’s light novel series Ningen Fushin no Bōkensha-tachi ga Sekai o Sukuu Yō Desu (Adventurers Who Lost Faith in People Will Apparently Save the World) is getting an anime adaptation. Susumu Kuroi, the illustrator for the novel has released a special illustration to commemorate the adaptation.
[❗️ Announcement ❗️]
This time, it has been decided to animate “Adventurers who distrust human beings seem to save the world” (MF Books / by Shinta Fuji), who is in charge of the illustrations! Yatter! !! !!
The project is currently underway, so please look forward to the next report!
(I’m looking forward to it too !!! 😭)English Translation, Twitter Translate
The special illustration features Nick and other mistrusting members of his party: the daughter of a former noble family, a denounced priest, and a female mage dragon warrior. It also features a mystery fifth member who makes an appearance late in the story.
Although the setting may not be new a bunch of characters banding together because of their common distrust in humanity is certainly unique. It will be interesting how these individuals actually work together.
This might purely be a coincidence but Nick’s character design and circumstances are similar to that of Naofumi from Rising of the Shield Hero.
Is The Rising Of The Shield Hero Any Good?
The details about the studio and the cast are not out yet, but the story definitely has the potential to be fine work.
