Lisa Edelstein returns to 9-1-1: Lone Star and The Kominsky Method
The American actress Lisa Edelstein will return as the pill-popping daughter of Norman Newlander in the third and final season of Netflix’s comedy-drama The Kominsky Method. Although Alan Arkin, who plays Norman Newlander has exited the series, Phoebe his estranged daughter will play a major role in the Michael Douglas starrer.
In addition, she will also be returning to her role as Gwyneth in 9-1-1: Lone Star. The ex-wife of Owen Strand and the mother of TK Strand, she comes to Texas after her son is hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
Her role on 9-1-1: Lone Star is very far from Phoebe. She is a lawyer and mother of firefighter TK Strand. TK was last seen in the adrenaline-pumping season finale of the first season where he was shot in the chest during a rescue mission. It is not revealed whether TK will survive the shooting but his mother’s arrival indicates things are pretty serious.
While the Chuck Lorre produced show, The Kominsky Method, has not announced a date for its third season premiere, 9-1-1: Lone Star is supposed to come back on television in early 2021 with Rob Lowe as its lead.
