NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) announced the third season of Log Horizon on its official website in January 2020. It was set to release in October but was shifted due to ongoing pandemic conditions.
Now, Log Horizon season 3 will air from 13 January 2021 on NHK Educational and will be officially titled ‘Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table’.
NHK Educational broadcasted the first season for the anime series from October 5, 2013, to March 22, 2014. The first season was adapted by studio Satelight. The second season was animated by Studio DEEN and aired from October 4, 2014, to March 28, 2015.

Log Horizon Season 3 Release Date
Season 3 of the Log Horizon anime series will start airing from January 13, 2021, at 7:25 PM JST, and after that weekly episodes will be released. The animating Studio for season three of Log Horizon is Studio Deen.

Story
The story falls in the action-adventure sci-fi genre where a game called Elder Tale is very famous. 30,000 Japanese players join the game on a special occasion and our hero Shiroe who is a college student starts his journey from Akiba city.
But Shiroe doesn’t have any experience of RPG games and he must learn how to live in this new world, how to lead others, and how to bring peace to his virtual city Akihabara.
Naotsugu a friend and Akatsuki an assassin who considers Shiroe his master join Shiroe and this starts their journey in this puzzling and strange game world where the creator tries to create the most puzzled and confusing situations for players.
