Love Live! Nijigasaki High Reveals Teaser Confirming New Characters in S2

The Love Live! universe is a place where all of us would want to live in since a song or a dance can solve any issue there. Other than its usual cute and aesthetic stuff, the show sometimes touches on sensitive topics making it worth a watch.

One of the franchise’s most relatable and iconic series is the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club that fans loved and wanted more of. After a lot of wait and anticipation, the show announced a second season, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club revealed a teaser featuring all the characters, including the old ones and some new ones. The season will premiere in April 2022.

The teaser is a compilation showing all the different characters and then zooming out to show the full visual. It includes the entire Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and the three new members: Shioriko Mifune, Mia Taylor, and Zhong Lanzhu.

The upcoming season will pick up right after the first one ended, where the girls carry out a successful school idol festival and Yu prepares for her music exam. Yu wanted to switch to the music course and got help from her idol club friends to prepare for the transfer exam.

Yu also becomes better at playing the piano, and we can expect her to perform some melodious tunes for us next season. At the season finale, Yu was about to take her exam, and I have been dying to know if she passed it or not.

It is most likely that she did get into the music course, but this change might bring about a whole new set of trials in her path. Will Yu be able to conquer them all?

Moreover, the cast members for the new characters were also announced by the franchise:
