Mashiro no Oto is an upcoming spring 2021 anime. Adapted from the manga of the same name. Marimo Ragawa is the creator. Jirou Majima has done the Character designing. Directed by Hiroaki Akagi. And Shin-Ei Animation is the production studio. The anime falls under the genre of Drama/school/music.
Mashiro no Oto: Plot
Sawamura Setsu and his older brother Wakana are raised by their grandfather. But he recently passed away. The grandfather dies, as a result of this, Setsu leaves high school, and moves to Tokyo. Setsu’s grandfather used to play Shamisen, which is a guitar-like instrument. Also a well known traditional musical instrument. Setsu and Wanka used to listen to their grandfather, playing shamisen during their childhood days.
Setsu was sinking in life, however, it was all changed when Umeko enters his life. Umeko is her mother, who is very rich and successful. She Takes Setsu back to high school, where Setsu is about to realize his love and passion for shamisen. When he meets an idol singer. In other words, this is the story of their journey.
Mashiro no Oto: Characters and Cast
Setsu Sawamura, The main Character is Voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki. Umeko Sawamura, Setsu’s mother is a supporting character Voiced by Takako Honda. Then there are some more characters like Rai Nagamori Voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Kaito Yaguchi Voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto.
The Yoshida Brothers are overseeing the music in the anime.
