Finn found the situation troublesome and understood that he did not stand a chance against him and tried to run from that location but Luo-Yang appeared behind him.
Finn got attacked multiple times but he refused to give up and that made Luo-Yang more angry. Finn used his magic and swapped Luo-Yang’s location but it was not enough to stop him Finn bought enough time so that Mash could appear and take the battle into his hands. Mashle Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
In the last episode, we saw that the next round for the Divine Visionary Exam had started and Finn, Mash, and Dot were already in trouble as Dot and Mash lost their crystals even before the game even started. The trouble arose more when all the players got teleported to random locations alone. Finn was terrified as he held the future of Mash in his hands and decided to avoid any trouble.
He then saw Luo-Yang attacking and destroying the crystal and tried to run away from there. Luo-Yang noticed him and attacked him and asked him to give up and hand over the crystal but Finn refused to do so. Finn then used his magic to buy some time so that he could run away but that was not possible when your opponent was one of the Magic Canes users Luo-Yang.
It was revealed that Luo-Yang holds one of the Magic Canes and this gave him the ability to heal from every wound instantly. He can not feel any pain. He can also inflict the pain of his wounds on his opponents thanks to the nurse statue. Finn was seriously injured but then Mash appeared and attacked Yang multiple times but it was not working.
Then Mash tried continuous attacks and was able to break the mask of the nurse statue but the statue got more violent and attacked Mash with syringes. Mash avoided that and then turned his iron wand into a tennis rocket and targeted the crack on the nurse statue and after some time he was successful in destroying the statue. Yang was not able to withstand one strike from Mash and for the first time he felt pain. Mash won the battle against Luo-Yang.
