The Executioner and Her Way of Life is an upcoming anime that will bunch one surprise after another in a short time.

The protagonist, Menou, is an executioner who is in charge of killing people from another world. Consider this an isekai anime with a brutal twist. Menou will meet an unexpected challenge in the anime as she encounters an isekaid girl she can’t kill.

Studio J.C. Staff’s The Executioner and Her Way of Life anime will be released on April 1, 2022. Some crazy main characters have been introduced in the latest trailer:

The first video shows Menou and her brutal style of execution. Her no-nonsense ways have sent many isekaid people to their graves.

Akari is the happy-go-lucky isekaid girl who Menou can’t kill no matter what. She has no idea that Menou wants to kill her and thinks of her as a friend.

Momo is a devoted follower of Akari and can do anything for her. Don’t get fooled by her cutesy ways, as she can stab you quicker than you can blink.

Ashuna is a wandering princess of the nation who will get roped into the matter between Akari and Menou.

The biggest mystery in this series is why Akari can’t die. Her special power helps her time travel to before her death, but her memory of getting murdered gets deleted as well. Thus, she has no idea that Menou is the one trying to kill her.

So, when Menou goes on a journey to find out how to kill Akari, she is happy to tag along like an adorable puppy. A weird journey of a killer and her prey is about to begin in the upcoming anime.

About The Executioner and Her Way of Life

The Executioner and Her Way of Life by Maho Sato and Nilitsu is a light novel series that will receive an anime adaptation in 2022.

The plot focuses on Menou, an executioner who is in charge of killing all those who get isekai’d into her world. These people are called ‘strays’ of ‘lost ones’ and are often responsible for huge calamities.

Thus, when Akari arrived, Menou was tasked with killing her. The only problem is that Akari’s ability makes her almost impossible to kill. As both of them spend time together, a new relationship blossoms between them.
