Speculations about Megicula leaving Vanica’s body have struck right on the target! However, the devil’s appearance is now going to make the lives of our heroes tougher than before.
Megicula has finally appeared in the flesh! However, Vanica’s body goes limp as the devil withdraws from her. We are not yet sure if she is dead.
The devil’s next target is Lolopechka. As Noelle has proved that she is stronger than Vanica, Megicula realizes that she needs a stronger vessel. Thus she possesses Lolopechka.
Lolopechka is strong enough to have hosted Undine, thus Megicula is possibly acquiring a stronger body. Couple it with the fact that Noelle cannot freely attack Lolopechka’s body, and you have the perfect recipe for a human shield.
However, Megicula is also preparing for her descent. She needs the souls of “three vastly powerful mages of the same sex” and both Vanica and Lolopechka will be her sacrifices. It is possible that Acier was the first sacrifice for her goal.
Megicula has already betrayed the Dark Triad as she wants to descend without the knowledge of Lucifero. This isn’t too shocking since she is an evil devil and I didn’t really expect loyalty from her.
The Dark Triad is already falling apart since Dante is dead and Megicula is trying to act for herself. It is entirely possible for Megicula to want to rule over the human world alone. If that is the case then she will betray the other devils and try to close the Tree of Qlipoth after descending.
The next fight will be between Noelle and Lolopechka, who is possessed by Vanica.
With Megicula possessing her, Lolopechka’s power must have increased even more. Will Noelle be able to defeat Megicula while keeping her friend safe? Or will the devil take over the three intended souls and reign over the world?
