The Bailey Group Power Struggle
It was finally revealed why Lewis Bailey wants to marry Shin Yuna desperately and saw Yu Ijin as a thorn in his path.
Lewis and his older brother are stuck in a war of succession and thus Lewis must increase his influence to succeed as the true owner of the Bailey group.
According to him, the assassins in the last chapter were sent by his older brother. No information about his older brother is known for now, maybe we will get to know more in the upcoming Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 77.
Ijin suddenly recognized the assassins and tailed him and reached the JS hotel where Lewis Bailey was staying. If Ijin had not reached on time, Lewis might have most probably died there.
The assassin looked professional and knew his craft. There are fan theories on Reddit that Ijin and the assassin used to work in the same mercenary group.
But if that was the case, Ijin would only like to hide from him. Ijin not only pursued him but also confronted and shot him in the legs when he saw him shooting at Lewis.
Lewis has finally recognized Ijin’s true value and an apology is most probably pending the next chapter. Ijin will somehow end up helping Lewis Bailey in the upcoming Mercenary Enrollment 77 English Chapter.
