MHA 328 Reveals Secret About All For One and Shigaraki’s Tartarus Conquest
All for One and One for All have been portrayed as two sides of the same coin from the beginning of the story. Chapter 328 of My Hero Academia depicts yet another parallel between both quirks.
Ever since Deku had a dream about the previous owners of One for All, the story has familiarized us with the idea of vestiges and how they live inside the current holder of the quirk.
A similar thing happened with Shigaraki when he inherited All for One; the difference was with the level of communication.
In chapter 328, we find out that All for One can almost freely communicate with his vestige inside Shigaraki. This is possible because of the combination of All for One’s nature and the Radio Waves quirk, which Shigaraki inherits.
This also enables All for One to take control of Shigaraki’s body when he conquers Tartarus Prison. All for One and his vestige inside Shigaraki coordinate to organize an attack from inside and outside simultaneously.
As revealed by All Might, this much synchronization isn’t possible in One for All. The extent of the two-way communication, in this case, is just feelings and that too with physical contact.
My Hero Academia 327: Death Flags for All Might
Although it’s probably possible to increase this level of communication, it will never be as specific as All for One. This is because quirks are completely transferred with One for All unlike All for One, where Radio Waves can exist within two bodies.
The one drawback to this is that someone who can interpret radio waves can figure out what is being communicated. A guard from Tartarus does exactly that and knows what is being communicated, and it isn’t good news.
