MHA 329: All for One Acknowledges the Strongest Female Hero in the Story

When Star and Stripe made her first appearance during the last chapter, everyone immediately compared her to All Might for obvious reasons. She has managed to become the No 1 pro-hero in the USA, but that’s not it.

Chapter 329 of My Hero Academia confirms that Star and Stripe is the strongest female hero in the story. This praise does not come from just anyone, but from All for One himself.

He recognizes the major threat she poses to their operation and how cheap underhanded tactics will not work on her. On the other hand, he sees an opportunity to steal her quirk, which will guarantee his victory in the upcoming war.

We do not know anything about her quirk yet, but her name probably foreshadows what it will be.

Taking inspiration from many classic superhero comics, Horikoshi likes to drop some references every now and then. Her name and design seem to be a reference to Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. comic and thereby Stargirl.

Going with that, Star and Stripe has a quirk that grants her boosted attributes like enhanced speed, strength, and stamina, along with the ability to make force fields. This would allow her to stand on top of a stealth bomber moving at full speed.

This would make sense as her quirk is very similar to One for All and makes her an ideal candidate for All Might tutelage.

The big question remains though, how will she fare against Shigaraki? Will she survive the battle or will we see another one of All Might’s disciples perish?
