“More than a Married Couple” Anime Celebrates Good Couples Day
The official website of “More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers” has released a third promotional video for the ongoing anime series along with a special illustration to commemorate an event that suits the series nicely.
On November 22, which is celebrated as “Good Couples Day” in Japan, the official website released a third promo that recaps the story so far in the anime. Currently, seven episodes are out, with the eighth to air on November 27.
The video also showcases the song “Touch” by Liyuu which originally played in Episode 7 of the series.
Moreover, to celebrate the event, a special illustration has also been released, showing the protagonists Jiro and Akari trying to strike an adorable pose. Jiro does look shy as he goes along with her.
Good Couples Day, or “Good Married Couples Day”, is the result of a wordplay, where 11 can be pronounced as ‘ii’ and 22 as “fu-fu”. Thus, the word “ii fu fu” translates to “Good Married Couple”. The purpose of this day is to deepen the love between married couples.
This was certainly a nice gesture from the team. More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers is currently airing, so let’s stay tuned to see how the relationship between Jiro and Akari gets deeper, or if it actually gets deeper, mutually.
