Moriarty The Patriot Reveals PV For 2nd Cour; A Glimpse At Sherlock

Moriarty the Patriot is currently streaming the first cour of the anime’s season one, while the second cour will be released in 2021. The anime is getting recognition from a lot of anime fans and is based on an interesting character.

James Moriarty, the machiavellian villain from the Sherlock Holmes series, is the hero of Moriarty the Patriot. 19th century England is a corrupt era ruled by noblemen, and the Moriarty brothers have a master-plan to take them down.

A new promotional video for the second cour of Moriarty the Patriot anime has been released. The second cour will premiere in April 2021.

The second cour will introduce the most anticipated character of all, Sherlock Holmes. Holmes, with his forever partner, John Watson, will enter the scene as the arch-nemesis of James Moriarty.

Will Moriarty be able to use his cunningness and insight to turn the situation around? A battle of wits between the two most sharp and crafty people is about to begin.

A 15-second commercial video for the BluRay and DVD release of the anime was also revealed. The BluRay and DVD versions of the anime will start shipping on 27th January 2021.

There will be eight volumes of BluRay and DVD versions, with each volume containing three episodes. They will ship between 27th January to 27th October 2021.

Tasuku Hatanaka is performing the opening theme song of the anime called “Dying Wish.” The song is featured in the second cour’s PV as well. The ending theme song is “Alpha” by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION.

Cour 1 of the anime started premiering on 11th October 2020. It is listed with a total of 24 episodes. Funimation is simul-streaming the anime.

About Moriarty the Patriot

Moriarty the Patriot is a mystery shounen manga written by Ryōsuke Takeuchi and illustrated by Hikaru Miyoshi that began serialization in Shueisha’s Jump Square from August 2016. The series has published ten compiled volumes and inspired an anime slated to release in October 2020.

The story is set in Britain’s Golden age in the 19th century. It Focuses on William James Moriarty, the second son of the Moriarty household, a young mathematics professor. He lives the simple life of a noble along with his brothers Albert and Louis.

But outside school, William is a well-known criminal consultant prepared to wreak havoc in pursuit of his desire “a new world built from the ashes of the old.”
