Osomatsu kun is a favorite anime franchise of many otakus, especially the ones who have grown up watching it. Since its release in 1966, it has become a classic children’s anime.
The plot of Osomatsu kun revolves around the sextuplets of the Matsuno family.
They are a carefree and troublemaker bunch who have confused everyone around them. Mr. Osomatsu is the reboot of the original anime, and it debuted in 2015.
The official website of Mr. Osomatsu has announced that season 3 of the anime will be broadcasted from 12th October.
It will be aired on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and TV Osaka on 12th October. It will also be released on AT-X on 15th September.
A new illustration for the upcoming anime has been released.
Abiko Eiji, the new character designer for Osomatsu-san season 3, has drawn the illustration.
It shows the grown-up versions of the kids, all staring at the sky, on top of the Matsuno house. A few more supporting characters can be spotted in the visual as well.
Dayon can be seen in the background as a giant human who is breathing fire.
He has been the strange character in the Osomatsu-san universe. The next season’s plot may have something to do with Dayon and his giant form.

The opening theme song of Mr. Osomatsu is decided to be “nice to NEET you.” The Japanese girl group, A-P are performing the song with the pun.
A special live broadcast event will be held on 25th September. All the voice actors of the sextuplets will hold separate broadcasts to talk about the anime to their fans.
