Multimedia Project’ Paradox Live’ by Avex and GCREST Receives Anime for 2023

However, music and art don’t come without consequences. The story’s characters have all gone through traumatic experiences to make musical masterpieces for their fans, and now you’ll get to know them better with the upcoming anime.
Avex Pictures and GCREST’s multimedia project Paradox Live is getting an anime adaptation, Paradox Live: The Animation, in 2023.
The show will feature the main rap groups BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez, and Akan Yatsura. All the groups consist of 2-4 members who sing in multiple languages and genres and share their past experiences.
It is set in the future, where rap as a genre has evolved beyond one’s imagination. By using chemically reactive accessories containing a unique metal called phantometal, these young rappers can create illusions depicting their emotions.
But there’s a big downside to it. As fun as these illusions seem, the artists who use them tend to suffer a traumatic effect. They get disturbing and terrible illusions that are out of their control.
Avex Pictures has also revealed a key visual featuring the leaders of each group, that is, Allen Sugasano, Kanata Yatonokami, Naoakira Saimon, and Iori Suiseki.
