‘Mushoku Tensei’ Anime to Debut Unaired Story that Occurs After Episode 16
As a Mushoku Tensei fan, I can never get enough of Rudeus’ adventures. After its second cour finished airing last December, a seemingly endless wait for season 2 had begun. Now, fans can see some hope again as an unaired episode of Mushoku Tensei is coming our way soon.

The unaired episode from cour 2 of Mushoku Tensei will be shipped with the anime’s fourth BluRay Disc volume on March 16, 2022. Check out the latest promotional video that shows the new character who will debut soon.
In episode 16 of the anime, Rudeus met his father Paul, but the later episodes didn’t show what Eris and Ruijerd were doing in the meantime. It is during this time that Eris will encounter a boy named Cliff Grimoire.
In the video, Eris can be seen enjoying her day alone, she will later encounter Cliff, an arrogant prodigy. He will keep following her since he wants to become an adventure, but is he ready to face real danger yet?
Ryota Ohsaka will voice Cliff. He has previously voiced Sadao Maō from The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime.
The episode will be adapted from an interlude from volume 5 of the light novel. Its title is ‘Eris’ Goblin Subjugation.’

As the chapter was almost like a side story, it was not adapted as an anime, but I’m glad that it is receiving a much-deserved treatment now. Cliff will be shown in the later adventures of Rudeus as well, so you can get acquainted with him before that happens.
About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime
That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013 but was later shifted to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has 21 volumes.
The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows the journey of Satoru Mikami after he died and reincarnated as a slime in fantasy land. A slime is a creature that reproduces the form and powers of anything that it absorbs or eats.
Satoru starts eating all the magical herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and stumbles upon a dragon who had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since both of them had nothing else to do, they befriend each other. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he’d find a way to break the barrier. Hence, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
