My Hero Academia Chapter 323 Hints at A New Era of Heroes
My Hero Academia manga is going through one of its darkest arcs right now. With All For One and Shigaraki roaming free and a lawless country, we can only hope for things to get better.
But even during a time like this, some people refuse to give up at any cost. One of them, of course, is UA and Class 2-A. Although the students were able to bring Midoriya back, they received a lot of backlash from the citizens.
When all hope seems to be lost, Uraraka stepped up and controlled the haywire situation. This triggered the beginning of a new era.
The protection of citizens is the very reason heroes started emerging.
So when they start protesting against the heroes, that’s when the real issue starts.
The people reacted aggressively towards Deku, arguing not to let him in and compromise their protection. No matter what our heroes said, the citizens wouldn’t listen.
When all the belief in heroes has vanished, it seems logical that any decision by them won’t be trusted. But the students of 2-A have refused to give up.
Uraraka is consistently painted as nothing more than the protagonist’s love interest, but she really came through this time.
Not only her speech moved everyone in the manga and those reading it, but the scene also gave so much depth to her character. Her quirk is not that special or consequential, but her heart sure is made of gold.
The chapter ended with principal Nezu commenting on how this small step gives rise to a hero capable of surpassing All Might. This line hints at how Midoriya and his friends are the beginning of the new era of heroes.
Uraraka’s speech is expected to continue till the next chapter and I am sure it will make a huge difference in setting the course of the story.
Kohei Horikoshi, the mangaka, previously stated that Uravity is important and will act as a beacon of hope in the upcoming story.
Her speech will not only inspire a lot of heroes to go plus ultra but will also instill some sense of hope and security in the citizens.
My Hero Academia Teases Upcoming My Villain Academia Arc
I know that the defeat of All For One and Shigaraki will take a lot of sacrifices and casualties, and I am not ready for it.
Even with all the upgraded reinforcements and security in UA, something feels off. The UA traitor is still not caught, and the villains are powerful enough to break through the shield.
The Age of Heroes is a long way to go, and before that comes, AFO needs to be defeated permanently. I hope things work out for our heroes, and they get the upper hand on the enemy soon.
