In the previous chapter, Himiko Toga visits her old family house. Her house is filled with angry slogans and graffiti mocking her. The words vampire, demon, and words mocking her family are scribbled everywhere on the walls. As Toga goes through various rooms, she remembers all the bullying and hatred from her family and friends. She goes to her room and lies down, and thinks back to her dreams about a sparrow cutting her open. Dabi, who is nearby, expresses surprise that she cares about her house. He asks her if she is ready and sure about what is happening.
After she agrees Dabi begins to burn her house down. Later, he gives her a vial containing the blood of Twice and asks her to carry on his Sad Man’s Parade. Elsewhere Spinner finally gets a glimpse at Shigaraki Tomura. When he expresses doubt and concern, All for One assures him that Tomura is recovering just fine. The process of overcoming the Quirk Singularity has changed his appearance and has made him strange. However, Spinner confesses that he still trusts Tomura and is only there because of him. So, the chapter ends with Tomura saying, ‘everyone can be somebody’s hero’ as the villains prepare for an attack.
