The illustration features Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki in their special custom costumes sitting on the floor with Rody, an original character who appears in the movie. The word “Empathy” is also written on the floor, probably a nod to the main theme of the movie.
This is the third movie of the franchise, but this is the only one that ties in directly with the canonical story. The story picks up directly after Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are finished with their internship at Endeavors in the anime.
The trio undergoes a special test in front of the World Heroes Association in order to be selected for a special mission abroad, after which the plot of the movie begins. Yoko Akiyama, an assistant of Horikoshi even drew a special one-shot to connect the two mediums.
