The release date of My Hero Academia’s chapter 308 has bamboozled fans many times already. There has been quite a debate whether chapter 308 is actually delayed or if Horikoshi has cancelled the break.

However, an official statement has proven that fans have to wait a bit more for reading chapter 308.

Many speculations have already surfaced about Deku combining his new quirks to fight Muscular. We will have to wait a bit more to confirm these predictions.

My Hero Academia is going on a one-week break, and its chapter 308 will be published on 11th April instead of its actual 4th April release date. Thus the 18th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will not contain the chapter.

The break is taken due to Kohei Horikoshi’s health issues. Although the specific reason has not surfaced, we are already aware of the pressure that mangakas face.

Their schedules are so packed that many mangakas suffer from overworking.

Since My Hero Academia has entered its final arc with chapter 306, the drama in the manga has taken a more intense turn. There is no doubt that Horikoshi is exerting himself with all these new plot additions.

My Hero Academia anime’s Season 5 has already started airing. Thus, fans will be able to keep themselves engaged with the newest episode instead of fretting about the delayed chapter.

Currently, the manga has around 50 million copies in circulation. The 30th volume has just been released as well. With the third movie of the franchise premiering in August, it truly is the year of My Hero Academia.

Chapter 308 is sure to feature Deku and Muscular’s battle sequence, and we are sure that it will be worth the wait!
