The popular shonen anime is all set to have a grand debut of its much-awaited sixth season, but in October, which seems so far away.

So, the My Hero Academia franchise had revealed two OVAs for its fifth season that ended last year in September. Crunchyroll will stream the OVAs from August 1, 2022.

The episodes are titled HLB (Hero League Baseball) and Laugh! As if you are in hell. Both will feature original stories that do not follow the main storyline and are not in the manga.

HLB or Hero League Baseball will be a fun episode filled with gags and baseball. Pro-heroes Shishido and Gang Orca seek out UA students to join their baseball teams to secure victory in an upcoming match.

Meanwhile, Laugh! As if you are in hell is a story set during the Endeavor’s Agency arc. It will feature the Deku, Bakugou, and Todoroki duo when they were interning in Endeavor’s agency. It will also feature a new villain Mr. Smiley who vandalizes the city with graffiti and gets away each time.

Both of these OVAs, consisting of two episodes each, were screened in Japanese theaters in June. Now they’ll be available globally for everyone to watch and enjoy.
