The anime will be 13-episodes long and will have a worldwide premiere on Netflix. The illustration revealed features the protagonist Sophie, her butler named ”Butler” and a martial artist named Guy.
Sophie is a descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte and is just as ambitious as he was. She leads an organization known as Lady Napoleon that is motivated by and runs for world domination.
The great emperor once hid his three sacred possessions, and Sophie is bent on finding them all as it would lead her to rule over the world. She intends to follow Napoleon’s steps and accomplish all that he couldn’t.
Considering what a disputed personality Napoleon is, I am curious to know what Sophie’s character is like. She is ambitious and a bit unhinged for sure, but is she a regular Kawai character or something we have never seen before?

But at the same time, I am super excited to watch this because no matter what, anime rarely ever gives inaccurate facts about real life. I hope Netflix doesn’t mess this up.
About Lady Napoleon
The original anime series is a collaboration between Netflix and mangaka Shin Kibayashi.
This action series follows Sophie, a descendant of Napoleon and the leader of the Lady Napoleon organization, as she searches the world for Napolean’s three sacred treasures. On her quest, she is followed by her jack-of-all-trades butler (named Butler) and the martial artist Guy.
