Netflix Releases Stills Of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Anime

Resident Evil is a well-known horror series by Capcom. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is an upcoming CGI based animation which is also a branch of the original series.

Also known as Biohazard, the horror media franchise has its base in Japan. Fans are excited about the new animation series that will show us a different take on Resident Evil.

The franchise began from the Resident Evil Playstation game, which was released in 1966.

The official Twitter account of NX on Netflix announced the upcoming release of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. It will premiere in 2021. The tweet also contains stills from the CGI animation.

The stills are of the two main characters of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Both the characters are from the Resident Evil 2 video game.

In the upcoming anime, the horror element will be the prime focus. This fact is also visible from the trailer that has been released earlier for the anime.

The anime series is being produced by TMS Entertainment and Quebico. It is licensed by Netflix. Quebico is well known for its CGI animation style.

Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the executive director of the project, announced the new anime in the Tokyo Game Show 2020 virtual program.

Tokyopop has also announced that a graphic novel based on the Infinite Darkness plot is being developed. The graphic novel will be styled after mangas and will be released along with the anime in 2021.

Biohazard or Resident Evil is a horror media franchise which is owned by Capcom. It is a mixed-media franchise that includes video games, films, CG films, comic books, and more.

The story is based on a virus called the T-virus, which leads to zombie outbreaks. The Umbrella Corporation has developed the virus, and it is wreaking havoc in the world.
