Here’s the official tweet regarding that announcement, which got re-tweeted by the official account of the anime.
The Promised Neverland never fails to amaze us with it’s extraordinary plot and amazing visuals.
On June 15, 2020, the manga came to a conclusion. Though some of us thought that the ending could have been a little better, we’re still deeply in love with every scene. Right now we are left at a cliffhanger for the upcoming season.
After the ending of season one of this widely popular anime, fans are eagerly waiting for season two to arrive. And good news, season 2 will be premiered on Fuji TV’s noitaminA programming block in January 2021.
The buzz was already high after the release of the key visual for the new season, and after Netflix’s announcement, fans can’t wait any longer!
Some are even planning on a re-watch before the next season drops.
Season 1 is coming in just a couple of days on Netflix and if it becomes successful, season 2 might not take as much time. Fingers crossed!
Entertainment news websites have also reported that Amazon is already developing an English-language live-action series adaptation of the manga.
So it seems like The Promised Neverland fans have a lot to look forward to!
