New Anime, Manga & Other Adaptations of the #Compass Franchise Announced
Prepare for a brand new release of #Compass – Combat Providence Analysis System, a real-time strategy game. The game’s rapid-fire multiplayer combat, which combine aspects of card games and strategy games, have proven to be very popular.
The franchise has dabbled in mixed media before, but this is its first true foray into the genre.
A second animation project promotional film was shown on Sunday at the Nico Nico Chōkaigi 2023 event during the “Super #Compass” stage panel. The film discloses that the premiere of this project, which was first revealed in December 2022, will take place in the year 2025.
Jeanne, Amairo, and Fukagawa face off against Reiya, Gustav, and Ōka in the latest promotional video. The combat is fought in an artificial reality simulation. Amairo, Jeanne, and Reiya are successful in obtaining portal keys. Jeanne is being assaulted by ŌKa and Gustav, but Fukagawa comes to her rescue.

There were additional announcements made at the panel about upcoming manga and novels. The song “Alkali Rettōsei,” which is Lyrica’s theme song, is the inspiration for one of the manga adaptations. The first issue will debut in the July/August issue of Kadokawa Monthly Comic Gene.
Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J will begin serializing a novel spinoff beginning on August 25. The tale is by Kinosaki, while Kurowa is doing the illustrations.
Here are some other manga and novel works in progress:
- Manga: Ryūse, Mano, and Chamooi’s full-color manga series will be published via Kadokawa’s vertical-scrolling webcomic service TATESC Comics. Tadaomi ŌKa, Gustav Heydrich, Rinne Itomeguri, and Reiya will appear in it.
- Short-Story: Mari Ksaka’s short-story collection will be published by Kadokawa’s Beans Bunko. Amairo Kitsunegasaki, Alice Aoharu, and Marcos’55 will appear in it.
- Novel: A novel starring Rinne Itomeguri, written by Kaoru Benihara and illustrated by Mano, has also been revealed.
For the #Compass franchise, this is a really promising beginning. Even though the anime doesn’t come out for another two years, many of us will be able to follow the tale thanks to the novels and manga. The more we know about the characters, the more we can take pleasure in the anime.
#Compass—Combat Providence Analysis System
The Combat Providence AnalysiS System (Compass Sent Setsuri Kaiseki System) is a multiplayer real-time strategy game played over the internet. In collaboration with DWANGO(Nico Nico Douga), it was created by NHN Playart.
On a digital map, two groups of three players compete for control of portal keys. The duration of each fight is three minutes. Players can also try out new tactics by amassing a deck of skill cards. In this variant, ‘Capture the Flag’ rules are combined with those of a card game.
