The first-ever teaser of the movie has just been revealed, and I promise the animation will blow your mind.
The captivating music that perfectly matched the video’s vibe surprised me more than the flawless animation.
The video gives us glimpses of film. The scenes where Suzume meets an unknown boy, and opens a mysterious door are especially noticeable. The later scenes show the protagonist hurting to prevent any disasters from befalling Japan.
Shinkai had previously stated that the film’s main point is ‘closing doors’ and that it is a road movie around Japan. This stems from the fact that Suzume has to travel all over the country to close various open doors.
A new visual along with a still from the movie was also revealed recently, and they all look amazing, to say the least.
